It cracks me up that the majority of the reviews are about the infrared lights not turning on when it's clearly states infrared is not visible to the human eye. Anyhow. I've had this cap for over a month now and have been using in quite consistently 1-2 times daily. Aside from treating hair loss the infrared is very warm and relaxing. It's a great decompresser after a days work. Before I get into my experience with the cap I must share I've tried it all. Minoxidil, nioxin, dht blockers, biotin, etc. and did for years with no success. I've been researching and using red leds for quite some time and finally took the plunge on this non-laser version. Newer research states because laser caps are at home devices they're not much more effective than led and due to the lack of testing comparing the two of course brands are going to tote the $1000 versions vs. the $100 one. Also in the last month I've also began treating my scalp health with a apple cider vinegar toner, microneedling (only 2 sessions so far), and magnesium glycinate supplements. Although subtle, I'm happy to say I'm noticing a difference with the quality of my hair and scalp. My scalp irritation has decreased, my hair follicles appears thicker and shinier, I have less fall out, and my baby hairs are getting longer. I have yet to notice regrowth but I'm happy with my results in only a little over a month!I bought this for pain since I have DPL plates so I know red light therapy works. This device made it easier use.
