This light is beautiful but a giant pain the a** to put together. I will say I put the spikes in prior to hanging and honestly, I'm so happy I did because I couldn't imagine having to stand on a ladder and do that after the install. Also, the light is heavy so make sure you are in a stud when you hang it or there is a very good chance it could fall. With that said, I don't regret buying this and it's already a hit with everyone that has seen it.
