works goodCould have used a longer chain, but otherwise it is perfect. I had an extension.I've been using for about a month without issue, but if I do I have a spare.So far so good. For the price an OK product, don't think that it will hold up to long term use, thin plastic, small metal contacts.Purchased this for a fan that has a light above the fan and a 4 light set below the fan. The switch has 4 modes. One is all lights off, one is both light sets on together, one for the upper set and one for the lower set. Works as advertised. The only thing that was different is the original switch that was broken, had a plug on it. I removed the plug from the old switch and put it on the new one, so I could plug it into the original wiring on the fan.Just like the OEM I removed. I installed it and it works great. This saved having buy a new ceiling fan.Very happy with switchI bought this to repair a friends ceiling fan/light. The light would not work. They were ready to replace the whole fan/light assembly. I suggested tryin g the switch first. It was the fix they needed. They are extremely happy!Easy to install
