It's ABS plastic instead of metal, so while the LED fins are constructed in a way so as to dissipate heat well, they're made out of a thermally insulting material… which is counter intuitive. Either way, it works well and is extremely bright, as advertised.Easy installation - just screw into socket. The LED lights are bright and light up my garage and work spaces making work easier and safer. The light 'paddles' are adjustable which lets you adjust your coverage area. The fact that they are inexpensive to own and cost much less to operate doesn't hurt either. These are great A definite BUYVery bright light. Works great in the garage. lights up the dark areas with bright LED lights. I have 4 lights sockets in my garage. I bought 1- 2 pack and liked them so much I ordered another. If you're looking for more light these do the job.I have a pair of these in my shop and boy what an improvement they make.Unfortunately after a little over a year, one of them has decided not to give 100% any longer.I see what kind if any warranty they have.Haven't decided if I'll replace with the same or look for something newer if no warranty.Knocked off a star for each light that is out.2/1/22 updateAfter I posted my review Aitoumireached out to me and wanted to replace the defective light.I seldom give 5 stars, but that's impressive.That's 5 stars all day long in my book.I'm now going to give this company a closer look and be a customer for life.After 3 months and limited use: 3 Panels out on one unit, 1 panel on another, other unit fully functional. I purchased three units total. Contacted seller with evidence and two units were promptly shipped to our residence. Overall, satisfied with purchase. I installed these in my three stall garage. When product fully functioning offers much more brightness than a lightbulb.This light is bright and does the job needed but in 12 months the lights on the fan blades start to burn out at 14 months only the center light works.If it could last 4 or 5 years I would say it’s awesome but didn’t last long so for me I would not buy it.Super bright. I had 4' LED shop lights which I removed because this new light is so bright. Just screw it in and enjoy the light.
